Joanne Tavano has a diverse range of work experience in the dental and healthcare industry. Joanne started their career at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates in 1989 as a Dental Practice Manager, where they worked until 2003. Following this, they worked as a Practice Administrator at Dentaquest Oral Health Center from 2003 to 2011. In 2009, Joanne joined Passion Dental as the Chief Financial Officer, and in 2020, they took on the role of Chief Operating Officer at the same company. Additionally, they have experience as the President of Privateoversight, LLC since 2015, and as the Business Owner of AKT Dental Consultants from 2010 to 2017. Throughout their career, Joanne has demonstrated leadership and expertise in various aspects of dental and healthcare administration.

Joanne Tavano, CDA, BSHCA, has a strong educational background in healthcare administration and dental assisting. Joanne graduated from Roberts Wesleyan University in 2022 with a Bachelor's of Healthcare Administration, focusing on health/health care administration/management. Prior to that, they attended the University of Phoenix from 2008 to 2010, where they earned their Associate of Applied Science in Health Care Administration. In 1988, Joanne attended Bunker Hill Community College and completed a program in dental assisting.

In addition to their academic achievements, Joanne has obtained several certifications. Joanne is a Real Estate Broker/Sales Agent, having received their certification from Real Estate of Mass in February 1995. Joanne is also a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA), having earned their certification from the Dental Assisting National Board in June 1988. Furthermore, they have obtained a Certified Dental Assistant certification from the same institution in September 1989.
