Ioana Tanasache

Ioana Tanasache is an experienced Lighting Artist with a robust background in the animation industry. Currently working at PASSION PICTURES since September 2024, Ioana previously held positions such as Key Artist at Jellyfish Pictures, contributing to the lighting and compositing for the Netflix animation "The Twits." From January to July 2023, Ioana was involved in lighting and rendering for the feature film "Giants of La Mancha" at Studio Isar Animation GmbH, and earlier roles include lighting for a Christmas short at PASSION Pictures and an ad for Dupixent at Aardman. Ioana's extensive experience also spans roles at various studios, including Nexus Studios, 422 South, and Axis Studios, where skills in lighting, rendering, and compositing were honed on notable projects like "Scrooge: A Christmas Carol" and the "Drain The Oceans" series. Ioana obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Animation Arts from Bournemouth University between 2012 and 2016.
