Jeremy Fillingim has over twenty years of experience in the technology industry. Jeremy began their career in 1998 as a Research Assistant at the Georgia Tech Research Institute. In 1999, they moved to Evans and Sutherland as a Hardware Engineer II, where they implemented a C++ application for full graphics chip simulation. From 2002 to 2005, they worked at Visionary Products, Inc. as a Senior Engineer. In 2006, they began working at Realm Systems as Director of Hardware Engineering, where they were responsible for the hardware team designing a USB attached thumb computer. Also in 2006, they began working at Mote Systems LLC as a Partner and at Ripple, LLC as a Senior R&D Engineer. In 2008, they joined Fusion-io as a Fellow and Principal Engineer, where they were responsible for mentoring technical staff and leading the controller architecture team. Finally, in 2015, they became the CTO of PassiveLogic.
Jeremy Fillingim received their Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering (MSECE) from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1999. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (BEE) from the same institution in 1998. Jeremy's fields of study for both degrees included Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Computer Science.
