J. Shannon Piper

J. Shannon Piper has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Starting in 1992, they worked in Electronic Systems Technology for the United States Air Force for ten years. Following that, from 2002 to 2006, they served in the US Air Force Reserve, specifically in the field of Public Health. In 2002, they also worked as an Instrumentation and Telemetry Lead for the Department of Defence.

In 2006, J. Shannon Piper joined Aristocrat Technologies, Inc., where they held various roles over a span of twelve years. J. Shannon initially worked as a Project Manager in Technology Services from June 2006 to November 2011. Subsequently, they transitioned to the role of Project Manager in Systems Design & Development, which they held from December 2011 to January 2018.

From 2018 to 2021, J. Shannon Piper worked as a Product Owner for Phi Gaming, LLC.

Currently, since August 2021, they hold the position of Project Manager at Passport Technology, a leading developer of technology-based solutions for regulated payment, gaming, and financial services markets. In this role, they contribute to the company's pursuit of excellence by emphasizing diversity, inclusion, and collaboration.

J. Shannon Piper holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Organizational Management from Ashford University. Furthermore, they pursued studies in Electronic Systems Technology at the Community College of the Air Force. In 2021, Shannon began their education at V School, where they are currently studying Full Stack Web Development. In terms of certifications, Shannon completed the V School Web Development Course and obtained the Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute in July 2008.
