Sahan Ramanayake

Sahan Ramanayake has a varied work experience in the field of Quality Assurance. Sahan started their career as a Trainee Associate QA Engineer at Zone24x7 in February 2015 and worked in that role until August 2018. During this time, they gained experience in QA sign-off for client deliverables, participated in requirement gathering and analysis, and performed test planning, implementation, and execution. Sahan also mentored and coached fresh QA resources, conducted sessions on QA best practices, and automated UI applications using Selenium Java.

After that, Sahan joined PastBook in September 2020 as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer. Here, they took up responsibilities in QA sign-off for client deliverables and worked closely with product managers and developers to understand features and their implementations. Sahan also created and maintained test automation suites for UI (using Selenium Java), mobile (using Appium Java), and API (using RestAssured Java). Additionally, they had an in-depth understanding of the product from an end-user perspective and performed feature tests and impacted feature test cases.

Currently, Sahan is working at Gapstars as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, starting from November 2021. No end date has been provided yet.

Sahan Ramanayake attended the University of Westminster from 2013 to 2018, where they obtained a degree in ISBM (International Business). Additionally, in 2023, they obtained certifications in "JavaScript Essential Training" and "SQL for Testers" from LinkedIn.
