Mei Wong

Mei Wong is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in material development and product management, currently serving as Senior Manager of Material Development Operation at Patagonia since January 2017. In this role, Mei leads the creation and implementation of standard operating procedures to enhance data integrity and process excellence, while collaborating with the Quality team on seasonal tracking reports. Notable achievements include the development and commercialization of regenerative organic cotton materials. Prior to Patagonia, Mei held various positions at Levi Strauss & Co., where responsibilities included managing extensive fabric development and ensuring timely delivery for production. Mei also served as a Board Advisor for We The Project and began a career in product development at Gymboree. Educational qualifications include a BA in Clothing Design from San Francisco State University and additional studies at UC Berkeley Extension and City College of San Francisco.
