Shelley Chase

Shelley Chase, CPA, currently serves as the Global Head of Tax at Patagonia since January 2015, overseeing all international tax functions including compliance, planning, transfer pricing, and financial statement presentation in accordance with ASC 740. Previously, Shelley held the position of Senior Tax Director at Volcom from May 2006 to January 2015, managing tax compliance across various jurisdictions and preparing tax provisions in compliance with ASC 740 and IFRS. Earlier experience includes serving as Tax Director and Senior Vice President at WFS Financial, where responsibilities included managing federal and multi-state tax compliance and SOX 404 compliance, and as Senior Tax Manager at KPMG, focusing on client relationships and tax services coordination. Shelley holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Accounting from California State University-San Bernardino, supplemented by further education at Golden Gate University.
