Patrick O'Shaughnessey

Founder and Chief Developer at Patched Reality

Patrick O'Shaughnessey has over 25 years of experience in software engineering and development. Patrick began their career in 1992 as a Senior Software Engineer at Nortel. In 1999, they took on the role of Consultant for New York Life at CID Consulting, as well as Director of Application Development at Primary Knowledge. In 2001, they became a Master Software Engineer at SPSS. In 2007, they joined The Electric Sheep Company as VP of Software Development, where they established agile development processes and managed the development, system administration, and quality assurance staff. In 2012, they took on the role of CTO at AugmentedReality.org, where they presented workshops on Augmented Reality and Digital Eyewear SDK's, and advised the organization and other companies on augmented reality best practices. In 2009, they founded and became Chief Developer at Patched Reality, where they developed custom augmented reality applications and games using the current best-in-breed AR technology.

Patrick O'Shaughnessey attended Brother Rice High School from 1983 to 1987. Patrick then went on to the University of Michigan, where they earned a BS in Computer Engineering from 1987 to 1992. In 1991, they also attended Middlesex University.
