Maliha Hussain is currently a Patchwork Foundation Candidate, with experience as an Event Manager for the Bengali Society at the University of Westminster, where Maliha was elected for the 2024-25 term. As founder and President of the Politics Society, Maliha was re-elected for the 2023-24 term. Additional roles include Student Ambassador with upReach, Community Organiser for the University of Westminster Students' Union, Magazine Editor and blog writer for the Democratic Education Network, SEO Candidate at SEO London, and founder of The Daily Mal, a blog focused on political and societal issues. Maliha has also gained customer service experience as a Generalist at adidas and as a Salesperson at Wickford Tandoori. Currently pursuing a degree in Politics and International Relations at the University of Westminster, Maliha previously completed A-levels in Extended Project Qualification, Economics, Politics, and Mathematics, and holds GCSEs from Woodlands School.
