Thasnim Begum

Thasnim Begum is currently serving as a Diana Award Judge at The Diana Award, where responsibilities include assessing nominations for the prestigious award. Concurrently, Thasnim is an Expert by Experience Member on the Lived Experience Advisory Board at Rethink Mental Illness, contributing insights from lived experience to the charity's initiatives. In addition, Thasnim serves as an intern for the Credit Transfer Project at The Open University, engaging with student voices to enhance support for Credit Transfer Students. Other roles include participating in the Patchwork Foundation Masterclass program and serving as a research panelist for Scope. Thasnim's previous experience includes positions as a Learning Support Assistant, SEN English and Maths Tutor, and a Tutor at GoStudent, along with internships at Bright Network in various sectors. Thasnim holds a BSc (Honours) Open Degree from The Open University and has also studied Health & Social Care at the University of Bedfordshire.
