Walid Hissen

Walid Hissen has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Walid is currently working as the Deposit Portfolio VP at Patelco Credit Union since July 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Product Manager, Vice President at Aeldra, a global financial technology banking and investments neo bank, from December 2020 to July 2022. Walid also worked at BNP Paribas Wealth Management from October 2011 to November 2020 as the Senior Vice President for Wealth Management Deposits and Cards. Before that, they served at Bank of the West as the Small Business Product Manager, Vice President from August 2004 to October 2011. Walid started their career at Wells Fargo in October 1999 as the Product Manager, Assistant Vice President and worked there until August 2004. Prior to that, they worked at Providian Financial Corporation as a Project Manager from October 1996 to October 1999. Walid also had a previous stint at Wells Fargo as a Product Manager from July 1994 to October 1996. Their earliest work experience was as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch from February 1992 to July 1994.

Walid Hissen has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Saint Mary's College of California. Walid also obtained a Graduate Banking certification from the University of Washington. Their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marketing was earned from San Francisco State University. In addition to their formal education, they have acquired certifications in Agile Innovation and Problem Solving Skills, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Sprint Planning for Faster Agile Team Delivery, and Applied Scrum for Agile Project Management from various institutions including the University of Maryland and Scrum Alliance.
