Kapu Kumar is an experienced professional in the field of intellectual property, currently serving as Founding Member and Executive Vice President at Patent Platform Services since January 2021, and as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Fundamental Innovation Systems International since August 2018. As a Co-Founder and Partner at JASPAR - IP Consultants, Kapu Kumar focuses on intellectual property licensing and consulting, overseeing negotiation, patent asset management, and strategic program development. Previous roles include IP Licensing Professional and SVP of Licensing at IPVALUE Management, as well as Director of Licensing at Agere Systems, Lucent Technologies, and AT&T. Kapu Kumar began a career in engineering at Western Electric before transitioning to licensing, following graduate education at the University of Rochester.
