Dr. Satyabrata Routray serves as the Director of Infectious Diseases and Director of NTD-Malaria and Immunization at PATH since May 2018, focusing on vector-borne disease control and the elimination of diseases such as visceral leishmaniasis, lymphatic filariasis, and malaria, while also managing vaccine delivery and oversight of international projects in Southeast Asia. Previously, Dr. Routray worked with the World Health Organization from August 2000 to April 2018 in various roles, including National Measles Control Focal Person and State Routine Immunisation Officer in Bihar, contributing significantly to measles and routine immunization programs. Dr. Routray's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Resident in Preventive and Social Medicine at JIPMER and participating in the National Polio Surveillance Project. Educational qualifications include an MD in Social and Preventive Medicine and an Executive Program on Health Care Management from IIM Calcutta.
