Limin Yu

Limin Yu is currently the Director of Pathology at PathAI. Prior to this, they served as the Medical Director of Pathology Informatics at Beaumont Health from September 2018 to December 2020. Limin also held the position of Assistant Professor at Oakland University from July 2015 to December 2020.

Limin Yu has extensive experience in pathology and pathology informatics. Limin started their career as a pathologist at Tricore Reference Laboratory, where they worked as a dermatopathologist from January 2011 to December 2013. Limin then joined William Beaumont Hospital as a dermatopathologist and Pathology Informatics Instructor from July 2015 to December 2020.

In January 2013, Limin Yu joined DPMG as a staff pathologist and dermatopathologist. Limin then moved to the University of New Mexico in July 2011, where they served as a Clinical Assistant Professor until December 2013. During their time at UNM, they were responsible for clinical service, research, and resident education, and also developed informatics tools and platforms.

After leaving UNM, Limin Yu became a staff pathologist at Pathology Associates of Albuquerque from July 2011 to December 2013. In August 2009, they founded Wikilips, a company that provides pathology-related information and resources. Limin served as the company's CEO until May 2015.

Limin Yu reports to Mike Montalto, Chief Scientific Officer. A direct report to Limin Yu is and Fedaa Najdawi - Senior Pathologist. Limin Yu works with Brian Bissell - Clinical Operations Lead, Amaro Taylor-Weiner - Director of Biomedical Data Science, and Vicki Mountain - Scientific Communications Manager.
