Imad Nijim

Imad Nijim is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in healthcare informatics and digital pathology. Currently serving as Chief Information Officer at PathGroup since March 2025, Imad leads initiatives that integrate advanced technologies in pathology services. In addition to this role, Imad offers consulting and fractional executive services, focusing on Radiology and Teleradiology workflow optimization for investment and private equity groups. Previously, Imad held the position of Chief Information and Technology Officer at United Theranostics, where a cloud-based imaging platform was developed to enhance cancer treatment. As Chief Information Officer at vRad from April 2018 to September 2023, strategic direction was provided for clinical informatics and AI. Earlier in career, Imad was Chief Operating Officer at Flywheel.io, responsible for sales and product development for neuroimaging solutions. Education includes a BA in Mathematics and Computer Science from St. Olaf College and an MBA in Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix.
