Michael Cunningham has over 25 years of experience in marketing and content creation. Michael began their career in 1994 as a Marketing Communications Coordinator for GEAC AEC Business Solutions. In 2000, they joined RealPage, Inc. as a Social Media Manager and Managing Editor, where they introduced the company to the value of content marketing through blogging and social media. In 2014, they became a Content Marketing Manager for ProofHQ, a Workfront Company. In 2016, they moved to First Advantage as a Product Marketing & Sales Training, where they were responsible for product marketing, sales training, go-to-market strategy, and content creation. In 2017, they joined Tail Light as a Content Strategy and Creation, where they strategized and produced press releases, website copy, and FAQ articles to support the launch of a new consumer-facing product. In 2018, they returned to First Advantage as a Product Marketing Manager. In 2019, they became a Marketing Manager for Oki Data Americas, Inc. In 2020, they joined Appsian Security as a Senior Content Marketing Manager and then in 2022, they moved to Pathlock as a Director of Creative Services and Senior Content Marketing Manager.
Michael Cunningham obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English from Indiana University Bloomington between 1986 and 1990. In April 2020, they also obtained certifications in Writing Case Studies and Writing a Marketing Plan from LinkedIn.
