Devyn Cunningham

Devyn Cunningham has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology industry. They started their career in 2007 as an IT/Engineering Manager for AboutBI Inc., leading a team of four developers and overseeing all IT operations.

In 2010, Devyn founded their own company, Verobit LLC, where they provided consulting services for small businesses, specializing in MEAN and LAMP stack development and managing database upgrades.

They then worked as an IT Administrator for MCA Healthcare and Pension Trusts from 2011 to 2014, where they redesigned and implemented an existing QT3/C++ application as a C# desktop application and migrated the storage to a new database.

From 2014 to 2016, Devyn served as a Senior Software Developer for NASBA, leading a team and working on the modernization of a monolithic AS400 application into modern Java using Spring and microservices. They also developed microservices in various languages like Go, Java, PHP, and Python.

In 2016, Devyn became the CTO of Spera Health, where they were responsible for the company's technical vision and development. They conducted research on new technologies, made decisions on their implementation, and led the company's strategic direction.

From 2017 to 2019, Devyn worked as a Senior Software Engineer for Pulsara, advancing the AWS services and monitoring infrastructure to support zero downtime. They also engineered online database upgrades using AWS tools.

From 2019 to 2022, Devyn was a Senior Software Engineer at Tanium, where they played a key role in developing the initial architecture for the cloud offering. They converted proof-of-concept into a scalable multi-cloud solution using Terraform and developed custom tools for cross-cloud support.

Finally, in 2023, Devyn joined Pathpoint as a Staff Software Engineer.

Devyn Cunningham started their education in 2004 at Montana State University-Bozeman where they studied Computer Science. This period of education lasted until 2005. After a gap, they enrolled at Rocky Mountain College in 2008 and completed their education in 2010. During this time at Rocky Mountain College, Devyn continued studying Computer Science.
