Saima Akhtar

Saima Akhtar is an experienced education professional currently serving as the Programme Manager for Employability and Digital Skills at Birmingham Adult Education Service since January 2022. In addition, Saima is a Functional Skills Tutor at Pathway Group and has held the position of Governor at Waverley School until September 2023. Previous roles include Primary School Teacher at Birmingham City Schools from September 2017 to January 2022 and Supervisor at the University of Birmingham in 2018. Saima also managed the WSE Cosmopolitan Youth Summer Camp in 2017. Saima holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Primary Education with QTS from Birmingham Newman University, completed in 2017.
