Melanie Vaughan

Melanie Vaughan is an experienced professional in government partnerships and employment services. Currently serving as the Director of Government Partnerships at Pathways to Education Canada since February 2022, Melanie leads efforts to secure multi-year financial commitments from government entities and maintains key relationships for funding growth. Prior to this role, Melanie held various leadership positions at the YMCA-YWCA of the National Capital Region from September 2008 to January 2022, including Senior Director of Employment & Newcomer Services, where responsibilities included overseeing significant budgets, securing over $5 million in funding, and managing staff across multiple programs. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of New Brunswick.
