Liz Eckert has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Liz started their career as a Communications Assistant at the Institute for European Studies, where they created promotional content and managed online courses. Later, they worked as a Communications Officer at the American Councils for International Education, where they developed communication plans and increased engagement. Liz then became a Communications Officer for a Gates Foundation and World Bank-funded project at Results for Development, where they managed communications initiatives for a national network of countries.
Most recently, Liz served as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications at the PAN Foundation, a national charity that provides financial assistance to patients. In this role, they led marketing and communication strategies, grew the organization's capacity, and guided reputation management. Prior to this, they held roles as a Senior Director and Director of Marketing and Communications at the PAN Foundation, where they managed digital marketing strategies and website redesign projects.
Liz Eckert's education history includes a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Political Communication and Strategy from the University of Kent, which they obtained from 2012 to 2013. Before that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Affairs at Vesalius College from 2011 to 2012 as part of a study abroad program.
