Amy Damsker-Wright

Associate Director, Operations at Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute

Amy Damsker-Wright has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations. Amy is currently working at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) as the Associate Director of Operations since February 2020. Prior to this role, they held the position of Senior Operations Manager, Communications at PCORI from 2017 to February 2020.

From 2014 to 2017, Amy worked at The Pew Charitable Trusts as a Manager of Operations. In this role, they managed operations for a portfolio of public policy programs, overseeing program budgets, grants, and contracts.

Amy's past experience also includes working at Management Sciences for Health (MSH) from 2007 to 2014. Amy held the position of Senior Operations Officer from 2012 to 2014, where they managed operations for the strategic development and communications team. Prior to this, they worked as a Program Officer from 2009 to 2012 and as a Project Associate from 2007 to 2009 at MSH.

Before joining MSH, Amy worked as an Administrative Assistant at Wellington Management in 2006 and as a Regional Manager at EF Education First in 2005.

Amy Damsker-Wright obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and International Affairs from The University of Georgia, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. In 2004, they also completed a study program in International Affairs at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Additionally, in 2012, they received a Financial Management Certification from eCornell. In 2013, Amy completed Administration Essentials training at Salesforce.com and participated in a Public Speaking Training course at The Pincus Group.
