Brigette Scott, MA, has a range of experience in communications and project management. From 2014 onwards, they worked at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) as a Senior Project Manager, where they developed and executed communication strategies for PCORI's data management system and oversaw event planning and management for conferences and stakeholder workshops. Prior to PCORI, Brigette worked as an Independent Consultant, offering solutions-based communications services to clients, including advocacy and issues management, event planning, and brand management. From 2006 to 2012, they served as the Assistant Vice President for Communications at the National Association of Public Hospitals and Health Systems, where they were a member of the executive team and implemented strategies to effectively reach internal and external audiences.
Brigette Scott holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Public Communications from American University. BRIGETTE also obtained a Professional Certificate in Project Management from Georgetown University and a Professional Certificate in Event Management from The George Washington University. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Human Relations from Trinity Washington University. In addition, Brigette has received a Professional Certificate in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion from the American Management Association and a Certification in Virtual Events and Meeting Management from the Event Leadership Institute.
