Greg Martin has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Greg started their career as an Intern at the Office of US Senator Charles S. Robb, where they assisted with researching proposed legislation and responding to constituent requests. Greg then worked as a Planetarium Lecturer at The Virginia Living Museum, delivering astronomy lectures and operating the observatory.

Moving on, Greg joined the National Conference of State Legislatures as a Staff Asst/Research Analyst/Policy Assoc, where they served as a knowledge resource on the State Children's Health Insurance Program, substance abuse policy, and health information technology. Greg developed relationships with state legislators and federal policymakers while conducting research and writing on state health policy.

Greg then joined the American Academy of Family Physicians as a State Health Policy Analyst, providing knowledge resources on state and federal government affairs. Greg later became the Manager of State Government Affairs, overseeing program operations and managing cross-divisional special projects.

Since 2012, Greg has been associated with the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). Greg served as the Deputy Director of Stakeholder Engagement, representing PCORI to stakeholder communities and synthesizing their perspectives for the Board of Governors. Greg also held the position of Acting Director of Engagement Awards, managing the solicitation, review, and awarding of commitments. Greg's most recent role at PCORI was as the Deputy Chief Engagement and Dissemination Officer, responsible for day-to-day activities and process improvement within the Engagement and Dissemination teams.
