Rotana Alsaggaf, PhD, MS, is a Program Officer at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) since May 2022. Previously, Rotana held positions as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Pre-Doctoral Fellow at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) from June 2016 to April 2022. In 2021, Rotana served as a Professorial Lecturer at The George Washington University - Milken Institute School of Public Health, delivering lectures for the Principles and Practices of Epidemiology course. From 2019 to 2020, Rotana was an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, mentoring graduate-level research practicum students. Rotana's earlier experience includes a Graduate Research Assistant role at the University of Maryland, Baltimore and Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Epidemiology and a Master’s Degree in Epidemiology & Preventive Medicine from the University of Maryland Baltimore, as well as additional studies in Research Ethics and Biomedical Engineering at Colorado State University.
