Brian Basho, CSM, PSM-II

Brian Basho, CSM, PSM-II has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Brian is currently serving as the Director of Agile Operations at PatientPay, Inc. since March 2023. Prior to this, from January 2022 to March 2023, they worked as a Senior Agile Engineering Manager and Scrum Master at ClassLink. Before that, starting in November 2020, they held the position of Agile Engineering Manager and Scrum Master at the same company.

From November 2019 to November 2020, Brian worked as a Program Manager at Veteran Advisors, where they implemented strategies to raise awareness for the Veteran Suicide epidemic. From September 2016 to November 2019, they served as a Software Engineering Manager and Scrum Master at WorkWave, where they managed a team of 14 Software Engineers and communicated incidents to improve platform stability.

Brian's career began in the United States Marine Corps, where they served as a Rifleman and Infantry Team Leader from September 2008 to August 2012. Brian was deployed to Sangin, Afghanistan and was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with Combat "Valor" during their service.

Additionally, Brian has experience in project management and served as a Project Manager at Systech International from November 2013 to December 2014. Brian also worked as a Scrum Master at the same company from November 2014 to October 2016.

Brian Basho, CSM, PSM-II, obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Thomas Edison State University from 2016 to 2019. During this time, they focused on business-related studies. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2007, Brian attended Valley Forge Military Academy & College, where they studied Business Administration, Management, and Operations.

In addition to their educational background, Brian has obtained several certifications. In July 2015, they earned the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance. Later, in November 2021, they achieved the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) and Professional Scrum Master II (PSM II) certifications from Scrum.org.
