Dacm Caroline Wilkerson

Caroline Wilkerson, DACM has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Caroline is currently serving as the VP of Government Sales and Strategy at PatientPoint® since January 2023.

Prior to that, Caroline worked at JESSE BROWN VA MEDICAL CENTER, where they held multiple roles including Veterans Experience Officer, Veterans Experience Officer (Acting), and Doctor of Acupuncture. Caroline joined the company in June 2018 and left in January 2023.

Caroline also co-founded The Light Doctors, LLC in September 2019 and worked as a Co-Founder until September 2021. Caroline was responsible for contributing to the company's growth and development.

In their previous role as a Doctor of Chinese Medicine at Rejuvenation Acupuncture from September 2017 to September 2019, Caroline provided acupuncture treatments and herbal prescriptions to patients.

Caroline started their career as a Chinese Medicine Practitioner at Serenity Acupuncture in October 2016 and worked there until September 2017.

During their time at Five Branches University from December 2012 to August 2016, Caroline served as a Clinical Intern and Veteran's Clinic Intern. Caroline conducted primary care clinical assessments, collaborated with medical teams, and developed and implemented Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment plans.

Caroline also gained experience as a Clinical Intern at China Medical University in December 2015 and January 2016. Caroline observed and assisted with clinical assessments, developed treatment plans, and performed various TCM treatments.

Prior to pursuing a career in acupuncture and Chinese medicine, Caroline served in the US Navy as a CTI2 from 2004 to 2012. Caroline collected, analyzed, and interpreted foreign language communications and provided cultural and regional guidance.

Caroline's early career included a role as a Cost Analyst at Sprint Nextel from January 2001 to August 2001.

Caroline Wilkerson, DACM, has a diverse education history in the field of healthcare and traditional Chinese medicine. In 2017-2018, they obtained their Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine degree from Pacific College of Health and Science, specializing in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Prior to that, from 2013-2016, they pursued a Master's Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Chinese Herbology from Five Branches Institute College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Caroline completed various courses on sales techniques and confidence-building through LinkedIn, acquiring certifications such as "Asking Great Sales Questions," "Hitting Your Sales Targets," "How to Be Both Assertive and Likable," "How to Project Vocal Confidence," and "Sales Strategies and Approaches in a New World of Selling" in January 2023. Alongside these sales certifications, they have also received specialized training in acupuncture techniques, including "MicroAcupuncture 48" from Dr. Andy Rosenfarb in February 2018, "AcuNova" from Boel Akupunktur in February 2017, and "Cosmetic Acupuncture : Mei Zen" from Dr. Martha Lucas in April 2015. Caroline is also a licensed acupuncturist with approval from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, obtained in February 2017.
