Marwa Elnashar

Marwa Elnashar has worked in the software engineering industry since 2000. Marwa started their career as a Team Leader at ACC (Americana Computer Center). Marwa then moved to Allied Consultants as a Project Manager. In 2007, they joined Vision Soft as a Project Manager where they designed and implemented a web app generator that generated fully customized, error-free web apps in 3 days instead of 2 months, cutting cost by 90%, lead time by 95%, and increasing customers' satisfaction by 80%. In 2016, they became a Software Engineer where they developed 200+ React components in various projects and customized monthly and yearly dynamic reports using existing information on custom databases. Most recently, in 2021, they joined PatientsLikeMe, LLC. as a Sr. Full Stack Engineer where they collaborated with product managers and design team to define requirements, implementation notes and acceptance criteria. Marwa also led sprint planning and mentored other developers on database ORM (Active Record), Rails architecture, ReactJS, Data Structures, Algorithms, APIs and tech principles and culture via direct meetings and pair programming.

Marwa Elnashar has a diverse educational background. Marwa completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering in 1997. Marwa then went on to obtain an MBA in Operation Management from American University in 2014. More recently, in 2020, they completed a Full Stack Software Engineer program at App Academy.
