Ed Waltz

Ed Waltz is a Professor of Practice at the Naval Postgraduate School since October 2018 and an Adjunct Professor of Strategic Intelligence at Patrick Henry College since August 2015. Prior experience includes roles as a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff at Virginia Tech from June 2013 to July 2018, Chief Scientist at BAE Systems Advanced Information Technologies from 2004 to May 2013, and Technical Director positions at General Dynamics and Veridian. Ed Waltz began a career in engineering as a Systems Engineer at Bendix Aerospace Systems Division in 1968 and held various managerial roles, including Manager of Systems Engineering at Allied Signal and Research Manager at the Environmental Research Institute of Michigan. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Computer Information and Control Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
