Sean Cavey

Sean Cavey has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Sean started their career as a 3rd Officer at Military Sealift Command in February 2013 and worked there till April 2016. During this time, they prepared bridge teams for humanitarian missions and created voyage plans ensuring the safe passage of multi-million dollar vessels.

In September 2016, Cavey joined Patriot Contract Services, LLC. as a Second Mate. Sean maintained navigational watch at sea on a cargo vessel and was responsible for planning voyages and preparing all necessary charts and publications.

Subsequently, Cavey was promoted to Chief Mate in October 2018 at Patriot Contract Services, LLC. In this role, they became the manager aboard the cargo vessel and was responsible for the vessel's safety, cargo operations, and overseeing a deck department of 12-15 personnel. Additionally, they served as the Ships Safety Officer, CBR-D Officer, and Medical Officer to a crew of 35-40 personnel.
