Jason Shapiro

Jason Shapiro is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in reliability engineering and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Manager in Reliability Engineering at Pattern Energy Group since May 2022, Jason previously held significant roles including Engineering Manager in the Insight Division at ONYX InSight and Mechanical Engineer positions at Romax Technology, Backcountry Access, Inc., and Vestas Wind Systems. Jason's expertise encompasses the analysis and presentation of technical issues to global teams, establishing operational processes for wind turbine drivetrains, conducting technical due diligence for new sales, performing statistical and reliability analyses, and investigating root causes of gearbox component failures. Jason earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2008.
