Mary Colvig

Director Internal Communications at Pattern Energy Group

Mary Colvig has a diverse work experience, starting in 1998 as an Associate at Copithorne & Bellows, where they worked on re-launching Hewlett Packard's iMac compatible line of DeskJet printer products. Mary then worked as a Senior Account Executive at Blanc & Otus, developing targeted public relations campaigns. At A&R Partners, they served as a Senior Account Executive II, providing strategic PR counsel and leading the PR team for the launch of Mozilla Corporation.

Mary then joined Mozilla itself, taking on various roles over a span of 10 years. Mary served as a Senior Marketing Manager, directing engagement with the global Mozilla community and overseeing the events program. Later, as Director of Contributor Engagement, they created Mozillians.org and developed the Mozilla Reps program. Mary eventually became the Director of Community Engagement, overseeing a team responsible for building a community of users and volunteers.

Mary's next role was with Marin for Hillary, where they worked in Communications and Operations. Mary then joined SheEO™ Inc as a Super Activator, supporting the initiative to provide low-interest loans to women-led ventures.

After that, Mary Colvig started their own consulting company, Mary Colvig Consulting, where they served as a Marketing & Operations Consultant. Most recently, they joined Meta as the Global Lead for Nurture and SMB Advocacy. Mary will soon become the Director of Internal Communications at Pattern Energy Group in 2023.

Mary Colvig attended Stanford University from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History. In 2017, they enrolled in Apparel Arts and pursued a Certificate in Pattern Making and Design with a focus on Fashion/Apparel Design.
