Zack Irons

Zack Irons has diverse experience in the renewable energy industry. Zack is currently working as the Director of Meteorology at Pattern Energy Group since March 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Manager of Project Design and Evaluation at Enel Green Power from January 2012 to December 2018. Zack also worked as the Wind Resource Manager at Third Planet Windpower, LLC from 2008 to 2012. Before that, they gained experience as a Resource Analyst at Northeast Wind (VERA) from 2006 to 2008. Zack started their career as a Field Scientist at Atmospheric Research and Analysis, Inc. in 2004.

Zack Irons has a diverse education history in the field of Earth Science. Zack has a Master of Science degree in Geochemical Systems from the University of New Hampshire. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Earth Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Zack also participated in a Study Abroad program at the University of Waikato in New Zealand, where they furthered their knowledge in Earth Science. Additionally, they attended a Summer Program at the University of Hawai'i System, focusing on Field Studies in Volcanology.
