Emery Gaylord Johnson has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2011, they worked as a Finance Intern at Market Force Information, where they completed financial projects and provided assistance with accounts payable and receivable. From 2013 to 2014, at Montana State University, Emery served as a Peer Leader and TA in Economics. In 2013, they also interned at Oracle as a Contracts Administrator. Emery joined Backcountry.com in 2014 as a Flash Sales Merchandiser and later held roles as Assistant Buyer, Associate Planner, and Planner. In January 2019, they took on the responsibility of owning the Closeout divisions and developed a Closeout Strategy in addition to their existing duties. In 2020, Emery joined Fitbit as a Senior Business and Forecasting Planner, where they facilitated and presented on monthly global forecast submissions, conducted analysis, and communicated regional differences in forecasting assumptions. Emery then worked at Borderless Distribution from February to September 2021 as a Senior In-Stock Manager, overseeing ordering and ASIN level forecasting for 20 brands while optimizing team processes and implementing new reporting systems. Currently, Emery is the Director of Inventory Management at Pattern®, responsible for inventory turns, instock rates, and process strategy, managing a team of 15 people.

Emery Gaylord Johnson pursued their education at Montana State University-Bozeman from 2010 to 2014. During this time, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Economics. Additionally, in 2012, Emery spent a semester abroad at Florence University of the Arts, although the field of study for this program is not specified.
