Emery Gaylord Johnson

Emery Gaylord Johnson has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2011, they worked as a Finance Intern at Market Force Information, where they completed financial projects and provided assistance with accounts payable and receivable. From 2013 to 2014, at Montana State University, Emery served as a Peer Leader and TA in Economics. In 2013, they also interned at Oracle as a Contracts Administrator. Emery joined Backcountry.com in 2014 as a Flash Sales Merchandiser and later held roles as Assistant Buyer, Associate Planner, and Planner. In January 2019, they took on the responsibility of owning the Closeout divisions and developed a Closeout Strategy in addition to their existing duties. Emery then worked at Borderless Distribution from February to September 2021 as a Senior In-Stock Manager, overseeing ordering and ASIN level forecasting for 20 brands while optimizing team processes and implementing new reporting systems. Currently, Emery is the Director of Inventory Management at Pattern®, responsible for inventory turns, instock rates, and process strategy, managing a team of 15 people.
