Sepp Zangeneh

Sepp Zangeneh is a two-time UCLA graduate with a diverse background in business, science and law. After discovering a passion for technology through courses in physics, computer science, and electrical engineering, Sepp completed his J.D. and returned to the classroom to further his knowledge by working towards earning an M.S. in Computer Science. Prior to starting his practice, Sepp held internships with SuccessFactors Inc. (SAP), LegalZoom, Inc. and the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission. Through these roles and others, he gained valuable experience in leading product developments, directing and managing sales, identifying new business opportunities, and researching and drafting a variety of legal agreements and memoranda. Today, Sepp applies his expertise to helping innovators worldwide gain protection for their inventions.

Sepp partners with entities of all sizes, ranging from startups to Fortune 100 companies. He primarily focuses on preparing and prosecuting patents for inventors who are creating high-tech, revolutionary products. With a broad range of technical knowledge in the software and telecommunications fields, Sepp supports a variety of technologies, including graphic user interfaces, multimedia processing, web-related technologies, internet gaming, virtualization, wireless communications, and semiconductor packaging.

Located in the heart of Southern California’s innovative ecosystem, Sepp takes pride in his contributions to the local economy and is passionate about building relationships with individuals and companies who are also helping to shape the world’s future. This big picture mindset, combined with his client-focused and customer service-oriented approach, makes Sepp a valuable partner in developing and protecting leading edge technologies.

Sepp’s hobbies include watching football and basketball, along with participating in sports such as skiing, snowboarding, tennis, and hiking. He also enjoys giving back to UCLA and has mentored several UCLA undergraduate students and also served on the UCLA Alumni Association’s Technology Committee.
