Mike Smith

Mike Smith has over 15 years of experience in the telecommunications and utility sectors. Currently serving as an Install and Repair technician at Paul Bunyan Communications since October 2017, Mike previously worked as a Preventative Maintenance Technician and Field Technician IV at Midco, where responsibilities included preventive maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repairs within the regional network. Earlier experience includes a role as a Draftsman at Arro Land Surveyors and as a Crew Foreman at Osmose Utilities Services, Inc., where Mike managed crew operations and ensured safety and quality standards. Mike studied Cartography with a specialization in GIS at Sir Sanford Fleming College from 1999 to 2001 and completed secondary education at West Ferris Secondary from 1995 to 1998.
