Joan Ferrer Fons

Joan Ferrer Fons has a diverse and extensive work experience. Joan started their career at Reckitt Benckiser in 1999, where they served as an IS Project Manager until 2006. Joan then took on the role of Senior Business Analyst in the Supply Services department from 2007 to 2008. At Reckitt Benckiser, they also worked as a Business Intelligence Program Manager, leading the implementation of a business intelligence tool for European operations from 2009 to 2010. From 2010 to 2012, they served as the Regional Function Lead for Finance and HR at Reckitt Benckiser.

In 2013, Joan joined the HARTMANN GROUP as the IT Director, responsible for managing the Information Services Department and spearheading technological strategic solutions. Joan held this position until 2017, when they transitioned to the role of Technology Leader for Region 2. In 2021, they became the Head of IT for Region 2 at HARTMANN GROUP, also overseeing the digital hub in Barcelona.

Throughout their career, Joan has displayed strong leadership skills, a focus on transforming digital disruptions into opportunities, and a commitment to driving IT innovation within organizations.

Joan Ferrer Fons has a strong educational background with various degrees and certifications. In 1994 to 1996, Joan earned a Higher National Diploma in Business & Information Technology from ESI - Escuela de Sistemas Informáticos. In 1997 to 1998, they pursued a Master's degree in Information Technology Management (MGTI) at La Salle - Universitat Ramon Llull. The education continued with a Master's degree in Business and Technology (MBT) from La Salle - Universitat Ramon Llull between 2002 and 2003. In 2008, Joan obtained an ITIL v.3 Foundation certification from ISEB. In 2010, their focus shifted towards enterprise management software, and they completed a Master's degree in Enterprise Management Software SAP ERP with a specialization in functional consulting (MSG) at La Salle - Universitat Ramon Llull. Additionally, in that same year, Joan obtained a certification in Financial Accounting with SAP ERP 6.0 EHP4 (FI, CO) through SAP Certified Application Associate. In 2012, Joan pursued a Master's degree in Financial Management (PDF. Post-degree) again at La Salle - Universitat Ramon Llull.
