Emilie Ottervanger

Emilie Ottervanger has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In their current role at the Paul Ramsay Foundation since 2021, they are responsible for managing an impact investment portfolio of over $85 million. This involves making investments in new impact funds, providing direct loans to social enterprises, and engaging in social impact bonds. Prior to this, Emilie worked at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., where they held different positions from 2010 to 2020. As the Director of Impact Banking, they played a pivotal role in driving the bank's impact investment strategies. Additionally, they served as a Senior Associate in the Agri Commodities Clients division and began their career at the bank as a Management Trainee. Emilie also contributed to the Youth Food Movement in 2013 as part of the Youth Food Movement Academie. Emilie initiated their professional journey as a Business Development Intern at SIP Project Management in 2008. Throughout their career, Emilie Ottervanger has demonstrated a strong commitment to making a positive social impact and driving sustainable business practices.

Emilie Ottervanger pursued their education in the field of Business Economics Finance. In 2008, they attended the University of Amsterdam and completed their Masters degree. Prior to that, they attained their Bachelors degree from the same university between 2004 and 2008. In 2003, Emilie briefly attended James Madison University, where they studied International Business.
