Giorgio Travaglini

Giorgio Travaglini is an experienced professional in technology transfer and research, currently serving as the Head of Technology Transfer and Staff of Directorate at the Paul Scherrer Institut since May 2012. Prior to this role, Giorgio held the position of Coordinatore di Ticinotransfer at SUPSI from July 2005 to April 2012 and worked as the National Contact Point for Research Programmes of the European Union at Euresearch Head Office from 2001 to 2005. Earlier in their career, Giorgio was a Research Staff Member at the IBM Research Laboratory Rüschlikon from 1984 to 1989. Giorgio holds a PhD in Solid State Physics from ETH Zürich.
