From 2000 to 2004, Tim worked as a Supervisor at McGladrey, a CPA firm, where they provided audit, tax, and consulting services to middle-market clients. During this time, they developed strong skills in financial statement preparation and tax compliance.

In 2004, Tim joined Shurgard, a publicly-traded REIT, as an Accounting Manager in Corporate Accounting. Tim contributed to the company's growth and oversaw financial operations before it was acquired by Public Storage in 2006.

After Shurgard, Tim spent two years as an Accounting Manager at Vulcan, Inc., a family-owned business involved in various impactful initiatives. Tim focused on real estate finance, preparing and analyzing financial statements to support decision-making.

In 2008, Tim joined Cranium, a private equity-owned toy and game company, as an Assistant Controller. The company was later acquired by Hasbro, leading to the closure of the administrative staff.
