Dr. Synatra Smith is a Project Manager for the New Jersey Historical Commission's Black Heritage Trail. They have extensive experience in various roles related to African American history and cultural preservation, including positions such as Co-Principal Investigator and Digital Learning and Engagement Fellow. With a strong educational background in Global and Sociocultural Studies, they have also worked as an Editorial Team Member for the Council on Library and Information Resources.
