Chrissy Young

Senior Director Of ELA at PAVE Academy Charter School

Chrissy Young has a strong background in education, with a focus on English Language Arts (ELA). Chrissy began their career at FirstLine Schools in 2007 as a Teacher. From there, they moved to PAVE Academy Charter School in 2010, where they served as a Reading Interventionist and later as a 2nd Grade ICT Teacher. In 2014, Chrissy joined PAVE Schools as an ELA Curriculum Specialist, and then advanced to become the Director of ELA in 2016, and eventually the Senior Director of ELA in 2018. Chrissy's work experience demonstrates their dedication to improving education and their expertise in ELA.

Chrissy Young's education history includes a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Literacy, Birth - Grade 6 from Hunter College, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013.
