Jim Tanler

Jim Tanler is an experienced safety and law enforcement professional with a diverse background spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Safety Director at Pavion since February 2023, Jim oversees safety programs for over 1,000 employees across multiple business units globally. Prior experience includes roles as Safety Officer at CTSI - Corbett Technology Solutions and Department Safety Officer at Fairfax County Police Department, where responsibilities encompassed safety management, training, and compliance across a large police force. Jim's extensive police experience includes various Second Lieutenant roles, managing major crime investigations, internal affairs, and logistics, as well as an early career in customer service and military police. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Public Relations from the University of Evansville and completed training at the VA Forensic Science Academy.
