David Geita Kanyora

David Geita Kanyora has a long and varied work experience in the banking and finance industry. In 2009, they began their career as a Business Manager in Corporate and Investment Banking at Stanbic Bank Kenya. In 2011, they moved to Chase Bank Kenya Ltd as a Marketing and Product Management Officer. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as a Regional Expansion Project Manager in East & Central Africa at Bata, and then participated in a Partner Banks Exchange Program at Rabobank Utrecht in 2016. In 2017, they became a Director at GW Creators. In 2018, they joined SBM Bank Kenya as a Senior Manager in Channels & Digital Banking. In 2020, they were appointed as the Head of Marketing and Liability Products at Habib Bank AG Zurich. In 2021, they became a Marketing Director and Board Member at Muthaiga Golf Club. Finally, in 2022, they were appointed as the Region Head for East and Southern Africa at pawaPay.

David Geita Kanyora completed a Master of Science in Marketing & Strategy from Warwick Business School in 2010, following their Bachelor of Arts in International Business (Hons) from the University of Liverpool in 2008.
