George Ssenkungu

George Ssenkungu has been working in the technology industry since 2008. George started their career as a Functional Consultant at Techno Brain Group in 2008, then moved to Intellisense Ltd as a Software Developer in 2009. In 2012, they joined Intel World International as a Product Development and then became CTO Uganda at betPawa in 2014. Most recently, they were appointed as Country Manager at pawaPay in 2020.

George Ssenkungu has a comprehensive education history. George obtained their Bachelor of Business Computing from Makerere University from 2016 to 2019. George then continued their studies at Makerere University and obtained a Master of Science in Data Communication and Software Engineering from 2020 to 2023. Additionally, they have obtained five certifications from Microsoft, including a Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Database Administrator on SQL Server 2005 (2009), Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD): Microsoft.NET (2009), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: SQL Server 2005 (2009), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA): Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (2008), and Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) (2011).
