Joy Obianaba

Joy Obianaba has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Joy started their career as an On Air Personality at Solid FM from January 2014 to March 2015. In 2015, they joined Lloydant Business Services as a Technical Support Analyst and later transitioned to the role of Lead, Solutions Implementation from April 2017 to December 2020. During this time, they also worked as a Managing Partner at Appstade from May 2018 to November 2020. In December 2020, they joined MFS Africa as a Technical Integration Manager, where they worked until May 2023. Currently, they are the Onboarding Project Manager at pawaPay, starting from May 2023.

Joy Obianaba has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, which they obtained from ESUT Business School from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Linguistics and Communication Studies at the University of Port Harcourt from 2008 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Joy Obianaba has also obtained several certifications. Joy completed a course on Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies from Harvard Business School Executive Education in March 2021. In February 2020, they obtained a certification on Characteristics of a Great Scrum Master from LinkedIn. Joy also holds certifications in International Computer Drivers License (ICDL) and ICDL Spreadsheets from ICDL Africa, which they obtained in May and April 2019, respectively. In June 2016, they obtained an ITIL Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Lastly, Joy has planned to obtain a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)™ certification from the Project Management Institute in April 2023.
