Richard Trott

Richard Trott is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in frontend engineering, user interface design, and user experience. Currently, Richard serves as a Principal Frontend Engineer at Pax8 since September 2022. Prior roles include Staff Engineer for 3D Experiences at Matterport, where Richard led the migration to React and enhanced 3D web visualization tools, and Staff Engineer at ProtectWise, Inc., where Richard developed innovative interfaces and spearheaded the adoption of WebGL technologies. Richard’s career also encompasses key positions at PorchLight Real Estate Group and Systems Development Corp., among others, demonstrating expertise in a wide range of technologies including React, TypeScript, and NodeJS. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design from The Art Institutes.
