Karen R.

Karen R. has an extensive work experience spanning several roles and companies. Karen currently serves as the Head of Enterprise Products at Paya since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President Product Management at Paya from April 2021 to February 2022.

Before joining Paya, Karen worked at Paragon Payment Solutions as the Chief Operating Officer from December 2019 to April 2021. Karen also held the position of Vice President, Product and Program Management at Paragon Payment Solutions from May 2019 to December 2019.

Karen's earlier experience includes working at Apriva as the Director of Product Management from March 2011 to March 2019. Karen was responsible for driving the strategic vision and product roadmap for Apriva's Self-Service Adaptive Payment Platform.

Karen started their career at American Express in 1983 and held various roles within the company. Notable positions include serving as the Director Portfolio Management Technologies from September 2007 to March 2010, Director Technologies Development, Program Management Office from November 2003 to March 2005, Director Technologies Development, Strategy and Partnership Team from June 2000 to November 2003, and Director Technologies Development, Testing Team from December 1997 to June 2000.

Karen R. attended Arizona State University from 1985 to 1986, where they studied Business Administration and Management. Prior to that, from 1982 to 1985, they studied Fashion Merchandising and Photography at Glendale Community College. In 2016, they obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from the Scrum Alliance.
