Edgars Gribusts

Edgars Gribusts has work experience in various roles and companies. Edgars began their career as a Corporate Client Project Manager's Assistant at Citadele banka in July 2015. Edgars then joined SIA “EuroInter Consult” in August 2015, where they contributed as a Senior Project Manager. At EuroInter Consult, their responsibilities included document drafting, maintaining client relationships, finding solutions for clients, coordinating project managers, and collaborating with private and state institutions. In 2019, Edgars moved to Bilderlings as a Business Development Manager and stayed there until October 2020. Currently, they are working as a Business Development Manager at PayAlly, starting in March 2021.

Edgars Gribusts has a strong educational background in business administration and law. Edgars obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Baltic International Academy from 2018 to 2020. Their focus of study during this time was in Business Administration and Management, General. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree at the Riga Graduate School of Law from 2011 to 2015, specializing in the Law and Business Program.

In addition to their academic achievements, Edgars has also obtained several certifications related to anti-money laundering and financial compliance. Edgars is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, having obtained this certification from ACAMS in August 2021. Edgars has also completed courses in the application of international law and sanctions law in the prevention of money laundering and financing of terrorism and proliferation from Valsts ieņēmumu dienests in March 2021, as well as practical application of money laundering, terrorism, anti-proliferation, and sanctioning requirements in the financial sector from Compliance Baltic in February 2021. These certifications demonstrate Edgars' commitment to their professional development and expertise in financial compliance matters.
