Atanas Velchev has a strong background in network administration and engineering. Atanas has worked in various roles, starting as a Junior NOC IP Engineer at Interoute, where they proactively detected and troubleshooted core network issues, identified and solved faults with different customer services, and collaborated with partners to fix network outages. Atanas then moved on to IBM as a Technical Support Representative before joining Interoute again as an IP Design & Provisioning Engineer. At FXCM, they worked as a Network Administrator, and at AT&T, they served as a Network Technical Support Engineer. Atanas then became a System Network Administrator LAN/WLAN at Schwarz IT Bulgaria, and later worked as a Cloud & DevOps Engineer at MentorMate. Most recently, Atanas joined PAYARC as a DevOps Engineer.

Atanas Velchev began their education at Mathematics High School from 2005 to 2010, where they pursued a degree in Mathematics. Following this, they attended Birmingham City University from 2010 to 2013, earning a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Telecomms and Networks. Throughout their career, Atanas Velchev also obtained several certifications, including AWS Certified Developer – Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching (CCNP-RS) from Cisco, and Juniper Networks Certified Associate, Junos (JNCIA-Junos) from Juniper Networks.
