Alfred Giles, CFA has a diverse range of work experience. Alfred began their career as an army captain in the U.S. Army from June 2001 to March 2005. Following this, they worked as a project manager at M.C. Dean Inc. from March 2005 to May 2007. Alfred then transitioned into the finance industry, starting at Credit Suisse as a financial sponsors/leveraged finance investment banking associate from July 2009 to May 2011. Alfred then moved to UBS Investment Bank as a credit desk analyst from May 2011 to April 2013. Most recently, they served as the head of corporate research at Payden & Rygel since April 2013.
Alfred Giles, CFA, holds an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business, which they attained from 2007 to 2009. Alfred also obtained a B.S. degree in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where they studied from 1997 to 2001.
